hismario123 Joins Paper and Games
Hismario123 Unites with an old friend…
For the longest time, I (Charlie Lyons-Morgan, founder of Paper and Games and hismario123) have operated the two sides of what I do as two different things. Different production schedules, different everything. But a fun fact, they did initially begin as the same thing.
We’re gonna have an announcement soon about our legacy projects, but every Paper and Games project, from the original version of The Little Pencil to Driving Mania, all began on the hismario123 YouTube channel. However, ever since 2022, I split the two up. Why? It felt like Paper and Games was taking over, so to speak. I wrote this big project called “Hismario123 Unites”, which concluded every ongoing storyline, and separated the two sides of my life from each other. It ended with Charlie burying The Little Pencil in what’s now known as the Fruit Comics Ultimate Universe, and Charlie leaving to then go on to finish up Chalek, continue QNAME, and eventually begin the “hismario123” series that now currently exists on the hismario123 YouTube channel.
But as time went on, Paper and Games grew; hismario123 grew even faster, but they were always separate, which didn’t help the production of either side. The Big Bomb Guy and Deconstructing The Loop’s production slowed down to a halt due to ongoing hismario123 projects, and hismario123 projects would come to a halt because of Paper and Games projects. So I think the best course of action is to combine the two once again… but with a few differences.
The Differences
Paper and Games Content will still be released on the platforms they already release on. The Big Bomb Guy will continue on the Fruit Comics YouTube channel alongside Newgrounds, and Deconstructing The Loop will continue to release on multiple podcasting platforms as well as the Full Story Productions YouTube Channel. Nothing will move. Nothing will be removed. Instead, combining the reach of hismario123 with the power behind Paper and Games allows for all projects to be able to spread to other platforms. More to be announced soon on that front.
Funds made from hismario123 content will go into Paper and Games productions. Yes, this wasn’t originally the case. I go more into detail on this situation in the latest Members-Only Monthly Update video available now either as a member of the hismario123 YouTube channel, or by joining the Patreon for the hismario123 YouTube channel.
Paper and Games Content will initially slow down, while hismario123 content will come out faster. Paper and Games Content has always begun production years in advance, whereas hismario123 content did not. hismario123 content will now follow the Paper and Games Production Schedule, which does mean several Paper and Games productions will get pushed back.
The Same
Well, there will continue to be hismario123 content, with videos releasing every 2 weeks, no matter what (with shorts and polls continuing every single day).
Deconstructing The Loop Season 1, The Big Bomb Guy Season 1, and The Little Pencil Retold Season 2 will continue to be released, although under a slightly altered schedule.
So, that’s everything. Well, not everything, but enough for now. We have a big announcement coming in 24 hours that I hope you’re really excited for (with that project also coming out in that same 24 hours!!). We will share more once it is released. I can’t wait. From then on, we also have some other announcements coming soon. Deconstructing The Loop Season 1 is planned to end by the end of January, with a Podcasthon Special releasing in March. We’re excited for that episode.
